"IT IS FINISHED"
These are the final words of the Lord Jesus Christ as He died on the cross at Calvary. (John 19:30)
At that moment, God’s wrath was satisfied as our perfect Lord, from whom all things were made, became the final atonement, claiming victory over sin. (Hebrews 10:10-14)
Though this was not His final act as three days later He rose from the dead, conquering death, bringing to us everlasting life. (John 11:25–26)
As an interdenominational Christian organization, we are accepting of varied beliefs regarding non-salvific matters of the faith.
However, we stand firm in the Word of God and do not stand alongside any faith outside of orthodox Nicene Christianity.
The Nature of God: Triune. Three coequal, coeternal persons.
(1 John 5:7)
The Lord Jesus Christ: Fully God and fully man. He is the Word of God, the principle of divine reason and creative order.
(John 1:1-5)
The Church: Given to believers by God to commune for worship, remembrance, and exhortation. The Church is the bride of Christ, a covenant relationship of love by faith.
(Ephesians 2:19-22)
The Scriptures: Inspired by the Holy Spirit. The text is infallible, historical, and includes symbolism. The Bible is composed of multiple genres and should be read with such understanding. All of Scripture points to the Lord Jesus Christ.
(2 Timothy 3:14-17)
Salvation: By grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, now Justified in Him. Known to the others by our the works done in Christ.
(Ephesians 2:8)
Baptism: The cleansing of sin by the Holy Spirit in Salvation. Physically represented by the act of water baptism.
(Romans 6:3-4)
Communion: Conducted as often as possible, in remembrance of the Lord, as a proclamation of His death. The Lord is truly present.
(1 Corinthians 11:23-33)
Our Beliefs
I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things seen and unseen.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
He came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered, died and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified,
He has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, universal, and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
