These are the final words of the Lord Jesus Christ as He died on the cross at Calvary.

At that moment, God’s wrath was satisfied as our perfect Lord, from whom all things were made, became the final atonement, claiming victory over sin.

Though this was not His final act as three days later He rose from the dead, conquering death.
